You may have found us because a couple mentioned you. Here is how makemywedding.ai works, and where you stand, in plain terms.
Compiled from what is already public.
Your profile is compiled by us from publicly available information - primarily your own website and other public listings - using automated collection and AI-assisted summarising. Each profile shows the number of public sources used and the date it was last refreshed.
We list businesses because their information is already public and relevant to couples planning a wedding. A listing does not mean you have signed up to anything, or that we have any relationship with you.
Nothing. And it never can.
You do not pay to be listed. You cannot pay to be listed. There are no commissions, and no position in a couple's matches can be bought.
Couples pay us, never vendors. That is deliberate: it is the only way our matching stays editorial, and a listing is never for sale.
The couple gets in touch, not us.
Matching is driven by taste and capability, with the reasoning shown to the couple. When someone wants to enquire, their assistant helps draft the message, but the couple sends it themselves, from their own email.
We never contact you and never sit in the middle. If an enquiry reaches your inbox, it is from a real couple, not from a platform, and any booking is entirely between the two of you.
Correct it, or ask us to remove it.
Details can go stale because public sources change. To correct anything, email hello@makemywedding.ai with the subject “Profile correction: [your business name]”. To be removed entirely, email the same address with the subject “Remove my listing”.
We act promptly - normally within 14 days, and immediately for removal requests. The formal version lives in our Privacy Policy.
An honest way for couples to find their people.
We are building an independent way for couples to find the right people for their day, judged on fit rather than on who paid to be seen.
If your public information changes - new services, new coverage, new work - your profile refreshes over time from those same public sources. There is nothing you need to do, and nothing to sign up for.
